Meet Corby Ferlesch

Associate Psychotherapist

Corby Ferlesch is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the State of New York, having received her degree from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College.  As an undergrad, Corby studied economics at SUNY New Paltz.  With this background, she has been able to incorporate an understanding of how economic inequalities and rigid societal pressures affect an individual’s mental health.

Corby has worked with young children, adolescents, adults, and whole family units. She utilizes a trauma-informed scope in her work with clients, helping them understand how their relationships and environments shaped who they are today.  Corby understands how scary starting therapy can be, and how courageous it is to seek out services for the first time. She takes her time to develop strong therapeutic relationships with all of her clients, to ensure they feel comfortable, seen, and heard.

Corby is experienced with treating depression and anxiety.  She is also trained and experienced in treating trauma with Prolong Exposure.
