Meet Racquel Nunes
Associate Psychotherapist
Racquel graduated with a master’s in social Worker from the Silberman School of Social Work-Hunter College. She emphasizes the importance of creating a safe, positive, and empathetic environment for her clients by using an empowerment-focused approach.

Racquel is a dedicated field professional who works to integrate clients into their communities, build relationships and create positive living situations for individuals who have difficulty coping. Her sessions include assisting clients in developing healthier and more positive life choices.

She utilizes several skills, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, and Psychodynamic Therapeutic approaches in assisting clients with overcoming trauma.

She is committed to supporting individuals, families, and communities to understand mental health and its effects on daily functioning. Additionally, Racquel is committed to providing quality services to diverse populations from a multicultural/ global perspective and is a proud member of the BIPOC community.
