Meet Brittany Bates

Associate Psychotherapist

Brittany is an experienced therapist who practices from a collaborative, strengths-based approach; assisting and supporting clients to be the author of their own lives.  She works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, disruptive behaviors, relationship challenges, self-esteem, and trauma.

Brittany utilizes various therapeutic approaches including CBT/DBT, psychodynamic therapy, narrative therapy and person-centered interventions.

Brittany is driven by and believes everyone should have a safe and healing place to work through life's difficulties. She is an advocate and ally to the LGBTQAI+ TGNC community and has undergone extensive training to ensure a conscious stance towards advocating for overall changes that make LGBTQAI + people’s lives and experiences in the world better. Most of Brittany’s work with families aims to bring families closer together and help to have fulfilling relationships during the coming out process many LGBTQAI+ teens experience.

As a proud member of the BIPOC community, Brittany uses a racial equity and intersectional lens to highlight, better understand, and effectively respond to the range of experiences held by individuals and families with diverse values, beliefs, and backgrounds that vary by race, ethnicity, religion, and language.

Brittany is willing to provide individual, couples, and family therapeutic services.
